Relevant to recent discussions in and around Richmond recently:

1)  According to VDOE's C11 report based on matching high school graduate records to college attendance records with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). 72% of Virginia public high school graduates go to college somewhere in the nation. 

2) The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) at USED runs a Private School Universe Survey, every two years, and it takes about two years or more to publish the results.  The most recent data published was in 1314 and included the 1213 HS graduates. That report has 6,532 HS grads for Virginia. https://nces.ed.gov/surveys/pss/tables/table_2013_15.asp 

3) We have a forthcoming report on the distribution of Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Enrollment (DE), and International Baccalaureate credits of first-time in college students. Some initial work I have done finds students with a mix of IB and AP having the highest graduation rates within five years at public four-years at 92%, but it is a small group. Students with DE and AP credits, have an 88% graduation rate compared to 68% for DE only.

4) Nearly 3,000 students transfer from NOVA to GMU,  with a 70% gradrate w/in 4yrs, 88% for CTG/CTGPLUS recipients.
