As we wrap up the academic reporting year, degree completions are on my my mind. The DC file is one of the submissions of the new reporting year, and it is of great, and increasing, interest to policymakers.  I look forward each year to seeing the updates on our College Completion Scorecard because it tells us exactly where we are in terms of progress to two goals of the Commonwealth that are based on degrees awarded. 

As a side note, yesterday I spoke to the VCCS IR community about the College Transparency Act. The Sway I used to frame my comments can be found here. I hesitate to call it a "presentation" because it violates all kinds of rules of a good presentation, and it really just serves as framing device.
