Guide to the Transfer Feedback Reports

College to University - Transfer Feedback

The reports below provide tremendous levels of detail on transfer activity of students attending Virginia community colleges and Richard Bland College of the College. While these reports do not pretend to provide all the answers to college transfer success, but they certainly provide an in-depth starting point for further study.

 

Represented in these reports are all 23 colleges of the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), Richard Bland College (RBC), VCCS overall, and VCCS and RBC combined. All public four-year colleges, and all Tuition Assistance Grant (TAG) participating private, nonprofit colleges in Virginia are included.

The reports provide views to transfer outcomes for a variety of subcohorts (listed below). It is further possible to break these down by gender, basic race-ethnicity status (majority students, under-represented students).

New Transfer (All)
New Transfers, Age 17 to 19 yrs (age at transfer entry)
New Transfers, Age 25 yrs and Older (age at transfer entry)
New Transfers, Age 20 to 24 yrs (age at transfer entry)
New Transfer with Pell (Received some level of a Pell Grant award at transfer entry)
Students earning 06 credits or fewer in First Year (of enrollment at four-year college, grade "C" or better)
Students earning 06 to 11 credits in First Year (of enrollment at four-year college, grade "C" or better)
Students earning 12 to 23 credits in First Year (of enrollment at four-year college, grade "C" or better)
Students earning 24 credits or Greater in First Year (of enrollment at four-year college, grade "C" or better)
CC Transfer Students with 15 CC credits or Fewer (grade "C" or better)
CC Transfer Students with between 16 and 30 CC credits (grade "C" or better)
CC Transfer Students with 31 CC credits or Greater (No AA) (grade "C" or better)
AA/AS Awarded Prior to Transfer
AA/AS Awarded Prior to Transfer, 2 or fewer years prior to Transfer
AA/AS Awarded Prior to Transfer, 2.01 to 5 years prior to Transfer
AA/AS Awarded Prior to Transfer, 5 or more years prior to Transfer
